It's awesome. The flaws are few and, in my opinion, relatively insignificant.

The most glaring is the wheel on the remote. I expected it to work like an iPod, but it doesn't even come close. The other small thing is that you can't custom name the inputs. So if you have both an XBox 360, and a Playstation 3, you're stuck with "Game." I have no idea what to name my Apple TV, Tivo, and Roku Netflix box. "VCR???"

Before I purchased this TV, I was concerned about the glare and about the "touch of red." On the glare, I have a very bright room and there is some glare during daylight hours, but it is minimum and it doesn't bother me. If you are an extreme videophile, this might bother you during daylight. On the "touch of red," it looks fantastic. Very classy.
All in all and as so many others have posted here, this is an outstanding HDTV that not only has an incredible picture, but it also looks fantastic in my house. I have absolutely no regrets about purchasing this HDTV.

Love the HD picture quality

This is my very first HD tv! I waited as long as I could and finally purchased one that was at the price I was looking for and had all the bells and whistles I wanted.
The picture quality is the best i've seen and I do not even notice or see the red tint so that isn't even an issue. I'm not sure why the big bad reviewers knocked it so hard.
The setup of the TV was easy and straight forward. I loved that it was delivered and setup on my entertainment stand and all I had to do was hook up my AVR receiver.
The purchasing experience with Amazon was great. the only issue is that I wish it would of been delivered sooner. It took about two weeks to receive mine. and the other reason I'm giving this review 4 stars is the remote is terrible but I fixed that by going with a universal remote.
anyways I love this tv and I'm glad I waited.

AWESOME

I researched HDTVs for weeks. Everything I read led me back to the Samsung 52" model 650. Then I spent weeks looking for the best price. Amazon was about the lowest price with no tax and free shipping. I was leary about ordering such a big item online.
Amazon was great. It took less than a week. Two men delivered the TV, carried it upstairs, unboxed it, and set it on the shelf. They were great. I will definitely not be afraid to order other large item from Amazon.
The TV is everything I could ask for. It is beautiful looking with the touch of red. Set up was very easy. The menu walks you through everything step by step. The TV has plenty of connections for everything I would want. I am not a techy so I will not bore you with all the stats and data. I love sports and good movies. But I spent the first 2 days watching Disney movies. The color and clarity are unbelievable. Go for it you will not be disappointed.

Love the TV

I did a lot of research prior to purchasing this TV, and after 3 weeks of watching it, I am convinced that I made the right choice. The picture is incredibly sharp. Watching sporting events on this TV has been a true pleasure. Connections to DVDs, laptops, digital cameras, etc are all self explanatory. I know some had problems with the wheel on the remote, but if your fingers are that unsteady, you can always press the darn thing to scroll through the menus. I also considered purchasing Samsung HL62A750 DLP TV, but when I went to a local Sears and compared them side-to-side, there was really no comparison. This is the best TV that I was able to find after 2 months of research.

Great TV -- Spectacular viewing

I bought my Samsung LN52A650 52-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV with Red Touch of Color about three weeks ago. After an initial problem with the motherboard (which was rapidly replaced by Samsung) the TV is working spectacularly. It is hard to believe that such a large TV can be so clear--but it is! I am not sure why the slightly red trim around it bothers folks. I thought it would light up or something but in fact it coordinates well with my TV room's walls. I highly recommend this product and the service after the sale from Samsung.
